The Temple Flowers....

Cut off from the plant the flowers offered to the deity adorn the Idol......after a short while, they are withered and turn dry...their bright colors go shaby in the dirt and greese ....they are then taken from the company of the idol and dumped along with the temple waste.....the ones that adorned the idol turn soil.....
they are not unfinished lives....even though it was for a short while, their company with the idol has put them in a magical field of energy....and their unrational death would have turned into a delight of offering for many.....

Pilot, Passengers and Monkey

The pilot of a plane happened to sleep abroad....all the passengers were asleep too...a monkey who was on the plane decided to take charge of the pilot....the plane crashed and all died .....

Our emotions are like the monkey..they are always active. When we let our heart, the pilot sleep..our brain or our reason, the passenger should see and watch it...if not, the monkey, takes charge.....and it is a crash!!!

I love to tell you this story...

A ship casts away in the middle of the ocean....a man tries to save himself swimming towards the direction of the island, the ship passed by days back.....he struggles with all his energy to beat the waves and water.....his life, the thought about his wife and children and old parents motivate him to swim... after a while, he realises his energy has drained out...he is exhausted and cant' swim anymore...and the island is still far away.......he gives up his efforts....he has no other way....he surrenders....to the water, to the ocean........he drawns ...and as he goes down to the bottom of the ocean ...he hears a voice...."now after that you have tried your best and realised you alone cant do it and surrendered yourself to me, it is my turn to act..."..the man finds himself being lifted to the water surface....he floats effortlessly.....and a wind takes him to the island...

I am reminded Life is like that....when you are exhausted after your best attempts,.. SOMEONE takes you the the shore....

What do u do for God?

The lady whom I love to chat with today gave me a thought......"what do u do for God?".....
It was surprising to realise that I had to pause for a moment to recollect what i do for God......

The Dried Wheat Grains

we have a stock of wheat grains in the monastery stack room....so dry wheat grains...I took a few grains that looked very old and very dry......I crushed some of them and found the dry dust inside.....the pod was hard..........
It was hard to believe that they are seeds and had a potency inside.....untill they broke the pods and poked out a few days later I watered them......
They were dormant all these years ....just waiting for a proper condition, a condusive environment...they could make a harvest !!!!

Do you still think a plant is dead when it is cut off from the earth.......the seeds tell you it has another life !!!!

A Drop of Water

Have you ever noticed a drop of water closely and wondered which ocean it belonged to.....

water stay in ocean. The sun raises it and stores it in the clouds....it could rain anywhere....it could fall and flow anywhere ...it could get dirty.....but it also gets clean.....and one day it joins the ocean again !!!! in order to be raised again.......and it rains again........

The Mountain....

The mountain is strong and stable.....it withstands stroms and earthquacks.....even if it has all the huge aspirations at the bottom, it is pointed at the finial....towards the void up above........ and it is growing closer to the sky..!!!!!
